HCG DIET: WHAT SHOULD YOU DO AFTER CHEATING?

Cheating will cause weight gain. Your weight loss goal will be impossible to reach if you cheat. Cheating will really come even how committed you are as a dieter. This is because of the food temptations. Cheating usually comes in the wrong place and the wrong time. Food temptations are hard to resist especially if you are a first-time dieter. This will cause you to cheat and get out of your diet track.

Giving in to cheating or food temptations will ruin your weight loss. However, you do not have to stress yourself out. You must get up and do something to correct it right away. Do not let stress get into your system during your HCG diet. It is because stress has various effects during your HCG diet.

How to correct the effect of cheating on the HCG diet?

  • Quit cheating– Cheating on HCG diet will not stop if you will not end it. It will just make you physically down and you will continue to gain weight. Do not do it over and over again because it will stop your HCG from burning your fats. Always remember that each choice has a corresponding result and consequences.
  • Stop thinking of it- Stress may come the moment you overthink. Stop frustrating yourself from the result of cheating. Make some steps that would help you correct and avoid the effect of cheating. Relax your mind so that you can be mindful in every choice that you will be doing during your HCG diet.
  • Stay away from carbs and sugar– carbs and sugar are causes of weight gain. These are not allowed on the HCG diet even in small amounts. This is because carbs and sugar will also trigger your cravings and will let you eat too much. Load more on proteins, fruits, and vegetables. This will help you correct the possible effect of cheating. 
  • Drink water- Water will immediately take off toxins and other food chemicals that you have loaded during your cheat days. Water will help you get back on your diet track. It can also help you in curbing hunger and cravings.
  • Make a proper plan– Do not scold yourself because you give in to food temptations. Instead, you have to forgive yourself and learn from the experience. Create a strategic plan that will help you cheat for the next time around.

You can also do an apple a day or steak day in case you gain weight. Remember that the “steak day and the apple a day” is not created for you to freely cheat on your diet. This is designed to help your weight is stalling because of cheating.
