Phase three of HCG diet

One of the important parts of the HCG diet is the P3. This is called the 21-day balance. Either you are finishing the 26 or 46 days round. This Phase starts when the HCG is totally out of your system. This is usually after 3 days of your last HCG dose. When HCG is out on your system, calories can now be brought up. Dieters can have any kind of proteins, fruit, and vegetables. However, they must be careful of high sugar fruits. Avoid complex carbs like sweet potatoes or brown rice.

How important Phase 3 is?

Many dieters don’t do phase 3. Thus, they end up gaining weight. Phase three is crucial in maintaining your new weight loss. The body will readjust the calories after the 26 to 46 day of 500 calorie diet. It takes 21 days for your weight to be stable. That’s why it is important to avoid refined sugar or bread. This is because your body has not yet adjusted to it. You can slowly have carbs and sugars after Phase 3.

POINTS THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW N PHASE 3

Stick to the Diet for 21 Days– Phase three should last for21 days. This is based on the research of Dr. Simeons. The research is done to several patients. It takes 21 days for the brain to reset and for the weight to be stable. Failure to complete the 21-day protocol can stop breakdown.

Weight every day– There will be no exceptions. The P3’s biggest factor is weighing every day. It is as important as the food you eat. The purpose of weighing is to monitor your weight for correction. According to Dr. Simeons every morning you should be within 2 pounds of your daily weight. If you are over two pounds, you are advised to do the steak day.

 

Phase 3 is not a Weight loss Phase– You doesn’t have to try to lose more weight on Phase 3. You will just get tired. Losing weight during phase 3 is dangerous. Repeat another 500 calories round if you want to lose more weight. This is done in 6 weeks from the last 500 VLCD.

What if Cheating on Phase 3 occurs– Do not mess your hard work. Steak day may not help you recover if you cheat. Choose the best food choice.

Phase three as part of the diet– This is for those who are not yet on Phase 3. Planning is very important in P3. Do not neglect it. It may cause problems. Be Smart on your diet. The best thing to do on the HCG diet is to stick in the diet protocol.
